What a difference this gel makes for my Guinea Pigs’ arthritis issues! Both are 7 years old and still going strong ❤️

We have a 14 year old Manx who has kidney issues. 2 months ago she spent 6 days at the ER vet due to a staph infection, her kidneys were in failure. She has had kidney problems for a few years plus her last 3 vertebra are fused (common in older Manx) she also has colon problems.
She is a fighter,a tough little girl. We were ready to let her go, but she wasn't ready to leave us, she kept fighting.
At least 3 times by other vets over the past 8 years we've been told to take her home with you, make her comfortable but she's not going to be around long.
Her last ER bout when she came home she could barely walk and when she did, she wobbled and laid down to rest every few feet. She was so weak from her infection.
We started out a little at a time 2xs a day and increased the dose
every few days. it's been a full 2 weeks now and the transformation is amazing!
She walks perfectly normal after 2 weeks of giving her this. No more wobbling or resting when she walks, she even trotted up the stairs which she hasn't done in a very long time.
She is doing a lot of "for her, normal things" she would do before this last bout of infection. She goes up and down the stairs bringing us her toys, she's sleeping with us again between bring us her toys, all these things she hasn't done in over 2 months and she's eating well again. She is just over all so much happier and her sassy self again.

We use this on our 13YO pug with pug myelopathy and arthritis (and general crankiness too). How did we end up here? Oral CBD makes her vomit, gaba gave her a UTI (yes, it's a side effect in some dogs) and carprofen/NSAIDs triggered her IBS. Can this poor dog not catch a break? I read studies on transdermal CBD and it does not raise liver enzymes or potentially cause liver damage the way oral CBD can. Using this has definitely made a difference in our dog's quality of life. We have noticed slightly better mobility, better mood, better sleep and more regular bowel movements. (Studies suggest some dogs can get diarrhea from even transdermal CBD, so watch out for that.) Is the pain relief of this as good as a Rx pill? Probably not. Is it likely much safer for their hepatic and renal systems? Much more likely so, yes. This was on top of anything else could afford to do for our dog: adequan Rx injections for arthritis, fish oil supplement, low-inflammation diet (highly rec Fromm Gold and Instinct: Frozen Raw) and mobility aids (ours used grippy socks and a doggy wheelchair). If you're on the fence, BUY IT – it's worth a shot before throwing your dog on Rx meds that will have consequences to their benefits.
